SASSA has released the payment dates for October 2025. The schedule shows when people will get their money for different types of grants.
Here are the dates you need to know:
– Older people will get their money on October 2 2025.
– People with disabilities will receive their payments on October 3 2025.
– Everyone else including parents getting child support will be paid on October 4 2025.
This includes all the standard SASSA grants and the SRD grant payments. Make sure to check your account on your assigned day to collect your money.
SASSA asks people who get grants to plan ahead and not all come on the first day. This helps avoid long lines at payment points.
The agency warns about money being taken from grants without permission.
If you see money missing from your grant you should go to a SASSA office right away to report it.
You can also send a text message to 34548 with your ID number and bank name if you want to report a problem.
SASSA wants people to know that only one payment can be taken from their grants each month. This amount cannot be more than 10% and needs the person’s permission first.
The agency also said that the COVID-19 SRD payments for August 2025 will be sent out between August 27 & 30.
People who see “referred” on their status should check their identity online.
Once this issue is fixed they will get their money in the next payment round. Any missed payments from before will be paid according to the schedule.
